Do I need any design skills?
No. Upload your photos and the layout engine arranges them into pages, in the order you took them. You can drag, swap, resize and caption anything before you order.
What if I don't like the preview?
You approve a full digital preview before we print. Edit as many times as you like. Nothing goes to press until you say so.
Is cash on delivery available?
Yes. Pay 50% online to send your book to print, and the rest in cash when it reaches your door.
How long does delivery take?
Books are printed and delivered across India in about 7 working days from the moment you approve your pages.
Can I gift a book to someone else's address?
Absolutely. Add their address at checkout, include a handwritten-style note, and we'll gift-wrap the Heirloom for free.
Are my photos safe?
Your photos are used only to print your book. We share them with our print partner solely for production, never post or reuse them, and you can permanently delete them from your account anytime.
How much does a photo book cost?
Apni Stories photo books start at ₹1,499 for a 20-page 8×8-inch hardcover (The Zine). The 26-page A4 hardcover (The Classic) is ₹1,899, and the 32-page lay-flat Heirloom is ₹2,299. Delivery is free across India.
How many photos do I need for a photo book?
As a rule of thumb: a 20-page book fits up to 40 photos, a 26-page book up to 90 photos, and a 32-page book up to 120 photos. Between 40 and 120 photos gives the best-looking layouts.
What sizes and paper do you print on?
Books come in a square 8×8 in (203×203 mm) and A4 (210×297 mm), printed on glossy art paper. Every book is hardcover, and the Heirloom adds lay-flat 180° binding.
Do you ship photo books internationally?
Not yet. Today we print and deliver across India, free. If you live abroad, many customers order a book delivered straight to family in India. Worldwide delivery is on our roadmap; write to support@apnistories.com and we'll tell you the moment it opens.
